Korean Lettuce Wraps
Korean Lettuce Wraps are a pleasant way to introduce different flavors and cuisines to your dining table, and they're usually easy to make.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Tamari sauce
- 1/2 cup honey or 1/4 cup stevia
- 6 gloves garlic
- 1 large onion Diced
- 1/4 cup Bone beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar or Lime juice
- 2 tablespoons of Sesame oil
- 8 Thai chilis or 2 tablespoons garlic chili paste
- 2 lbs Beef Roast
- Cucumber sliced into matchsticks
- carrots shredded or sliced into matchsticks
- radishes sliced thinly
- Colored bell peppers sliced into matchsticks
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 12-16 Butter lettuce leaves
- toasted black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cut the Roast in quarters, season with salt and pepper, and brown on all sides in a saucepan.
- Transfer to slow cooker, add tamari, garlic, onion, Thai chilis, honey or stevia, bone beef broth, vinegar or lime juice, and sesame oil.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the beef in the juices.
- Serve on lettuce topped with carrots, cucumbers, peppers, cilantro, radish, and green onion.
