Who am I?
Entrepreneur, Mom of College Students, passionate about food, fitness, and empowering people.
I started this blog to share my ideas to help busy women be strategic with meal prep and planning. From a young age, I have always loved being creative in the kitchen. When I became a mom, I wanted to learn as much as I could about nutrition so I could provide healthy meals for my family. Through different stages of life, as kids have aged, meal planning has taken on different looks.
Two things I have learned remain true over time. First…Knowledge is power. I am a constant seeker of nutrition and health information about food, to make smart choices about how to feed our bodies well. Second…Planning is one of the most important things you can to feed your family healthy meals. In this busy world, unless there is a well laid out plan of what you are eating, the drive-thru is an all to easy option. Meal planning saves time, money and STRESS!
I am also passionate about fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle so will share some fun fit tips too. I owned a dance and gymnastics studio, taught Jazzercise and still love helping others make fitness fun and reach their goals.
Thanks for reading and I hope you find some ideas to inspire you!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
I am constantly on the journey of learning more about health and wellness, and what it means to feed my body well. I started this blog years ago when we started eating gluten-free to support my kids’ nutrition needs with autoimmune diseases. I thought I was eating clean, however, I keep learning more.
The older recipes may have ingredients, we no longer include in our weekly meal prep that focuses even more on clean eating, farm-sourced protein, fruits, vegetables, and eliminating seed oils.
My goal is to provide healthy, well-balanced options that incorporate lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I have never been a person that follows recipes, as I said I love to be creative. I do love watching food network, studying food magazines, meal plans, and recipes to learn and get inspiration. I LOVE food and strive to combine feeding our bodies well and enjoying what we eat. I encourage you to be creative too to make them into your family’s favorite dishes.
