Steak Fajita Bowls
Ingredients
- 2 lbs steak thinly sliced
- 2 TBS Weber chicago steak seasoning
- 1 TBS taco seasoning
- 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 1 sweet onion sliced
- 1 red onions sliced
- 2 green peppers sliced
- 2 bell peppers yellow, orange sliced
- 1/2 cup jalapeno slices
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 1 bunch cilantro chopped
- 2 cans black beans drained and rinsed
- 2 cups brown rice cooked
- Optional additional toppings: avocado and shredded cheese
Instructions
- Thinly slice the steaks (it is always easier after they have been in the freezer for a bit). Season the steak with worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning and taco seasoning.
- In a large skillet over high heat saute the steak until desired doneness. Remove meat and set aside.
- In same skillet over high heat cook sliced onions until cooked through about 3-5 minutes. Remove and do the same with peppers.
- For meal prep, add portions of meat, onions, peppers, beans, rice, cilantro, tomatoes to each containers. Option to add shredded cheese and salsa as well.
