Thai Basil Turkey
Simple dish to prepare with classic thai flavors. As an alternative to rice I love putting the meat in boston lettuce leaves.

- 3 lbs ground turkey
- 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 jalapeno thinly sliced
- 12 cloves garlic
- 2 red bell peppers thinly sliced
- 2 oz thai basil
- 3 cup rice
- bunch green onions sliced
Cook rice according to package directions. (I use chicken stock instead of water)
Brown ground turkey in large saute pan.
In medium bowl combine garlic, jalapeno slices, chicken broth, soy sauce, fish sauce. Add sauce and peppers to the turkey and cook over medium low heat until flavors combine, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Top with torn basil and green onions. Serve with rice.
